All about the EuroMillions lottery
I think, it is logical - to learn a little about the history and traditions of the lottery, before you start playing. And in EuroMillions, financial traditions are especially interesting - distribution of funds. I am sure, that they pleasantly shock you.
But let's start from the very beginning., since the beginning of the lottery.
It was not so long ago - the first draw took place in 2004 year in Paris, the declared grand prize was 15 million euros won by a participant from France.
EuroMillions initially established three countries: Great Britain, France and Spain. Later they were joined by other members., and now the number of co-founders is 13 countries.

Jackpot Winning Syndicates
There have been several notable syndicate wins in EuroMillions history:
- On Friday 1 july 2016 of the year a syndicate of bus drivers from Dublin won the EuroMillions jackpot of 23,8 million €. 22 a member of the group received a little more 1 million € for each and even arrived by bus, to collect your checks!
- Syndicate Facebook, coordinated by Gary Schei of East Linton, won a big jackpot in the Mega Friday draw 27 february 2015 of the year . Moreover, each of 79 syndicate members received at least 21 213 £. Shay himself owned four shares in the syndicate and won 84 852 £.

Fun facts about EuroMillions
That's how the win! - It was lucky to get the biggest win in the history of EuroMillions 14 july 2011 years of a married couple from Scotland. Ayrshire's Colin and Chris Weyrs hit a € 190 million pot - the largest single lottery ticket win in EuroMillions history. More often, jackpot split into multiple winners, But not at this time!
Compensation for illness – In May 2009 an ordinary woman from the island of Mallorca caught the flu. She has a fever, and she went on sick leave. Having recovered, she started getting ready for work, but suddenly I remembered, what before, how to sleep, she bought a EuroMillions lottery ticket. To my surprise, checking the winning numbers, She understood, that she became the owner of a part of the jackpot in the amount of € 126 million.
