Syndicate Lottery Fraud
Buying lottery tickets can be fraught with deception. Syndicate cashiers often turn out to be scammers. They can either misappropriate the collected money, or not to share the winnings with other players and hide. Unfortunately, since usually such lottery syndicates are not legally registered in any way, later, it can be very difficult to get yours according to the law.
Besides, despite the fact that some lottery companies offer seemingly official participation in the group game and here you need to be careful and read the agreement very carefully. Joining a lottery "club" will not increase your chances of winning in foreign lotteries..
Scammers claim, what pooling your money with other people means, that you can buy more tickets and have more chances of winning. But the odds of winning remain slim, and you still don't know, will the tickets actually be purchased or will you receive the winnings.
Cheating on the Internet
You receive an email from a well-known lottery brand, for example "Stoloto" or "Russian loto", in which you are lured to the site under different sauces, where is the draw. Naturally, absolutely free. You may be sent a ticket or an invitation link.
As a rule, the amount of the draw is huge - several million or even a billion.
You go to the site, where you are greeted by a banner with a famous actor and attractive slogans. Then you are told, that the live broadcast of the draw is not possible for any reason. A lottery without cheating is always a live broadcast of the draw.
And the recording starts, from which you learn, that you won some large sum. You are then asked to pay the duty or pay for shipping the prize, and this is where the fraud lies. Sure, money will go nowhere, or rather in the pocket of the scammers. Moreover, the amount, usually, small enough in contrast to the size of the win. Well, who will think about four hundred rubles if there is an opportunity to get one hundred twenty-eight thousand? This is what scammers are counting on.
How to avoid this situation:
- First things first, don't follow links from emails. Special, if you have not registered in any lottery. Free cheese, as is known, only happens in a mousetrap.
- Website address, usually, is a jumble of letters and numbers, or, on the contrary, an attractive slogan like "polu4idengi.ru"
- If you have already switched - take a closer look at the site. As a rule, links to social networks at the bottom of the page lead to nowhere, chats are full of generic messages, and other sections of the site just don't work.
- Ignore reviews, about that, that these are real lotteries without cheating the price of them 15 kopecks apiece on any freelance exchange.
- Then, that the draw off the air is also a bad sign.
- As soon as you have been asked to pay for something, doubts must melt - this is a scam.
- Don't trust scammers, be skeptical.

Tickets are almost do not differ from real, so, that they are easy to confuse, and winning combinations of numbers duplicate the real. But, despite the similarity, it is impossible to get a win from the real "Russian Lotto".
